MEUSEUKAT CAKE





Meuseukat is typical culinary Aceh that is intended to welcome the honored guests. Meuseukat only presented on certain occasions. Usually the celebration event or a great day when the homeowner will receive guests.Meuseukat has a shape like dodol with soft texture and taste sweet and slightly acidic because it uses lime juice and pineapple therefore some people call it a distinctive pineapple dodol Aceh.

Here is the recipe and how to make it : 


Ingredients : 

  • 300gr sugar
  • 500 gr flour
  • Enough water
  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 pieces of orange juice
  • 50 g butter


How to make a cake Meuseukat :

  • Grated pineapple, squeeze and take the water
  • Squeeze the oranges then mix with the juice of pineapple
  • Strain juice and pineapple, set aside
  • Heat a frying pan and cook the water, flour and juice and pineapple
  • Stirring constantly until boiling

  • Stirring constantly until mixture thickens and dense.
