Lappet gadong or Lappet Pulut is one of the specialties of the region of North Sumatra especially the lapet Batak Toba, usually shaped to resemble the limas and wrapped in banana leaves. This dish is made with basic ingredients rice flour in it were given brown sugar then steamed until cooked. The following is the complete dish.

Ingredients :
- Glutinous rice flour/starch/grated Yam
- Brown sugar
- Shredded coconut
- Banana leaves
How to Make :
- Mix glutinous rice flour/starch/grated sweet potato with shredded coconut is then put on top of banana leaves.
- Stir in brown sugar mix ditengha flour and shredded coconut. Wrap up to resemble a cone.
- Steamed until cooked, serve while hot.
